Job Summary: Join Tazzer Group as a Bricklayer and play a crucial role in the construction and renovation of buildings and structures. This role involves laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches, and other structures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bricklaying, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Construction and Repair:
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct or repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches, and other structures.
- Measure and cut bricks or blocks to precise specifications using hand tools or power tools.
- Align structures vertically and horizontally using levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
Planning and Layout:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and work requirements.
- Plan work to ensure proper structure, placement, and alignment of brickwork.
Mortar Mixing and Application:
- Mix specified amounts of sand, clay, dirt, or mortar powder with water to form a mortar or paste.
- Apply mortar to bricks or blocks and position them using trowels, levels, and plumb lines.
Quality Control:
- Ensure that structures are constructed to the highest standards of accuracy and durability.
- Inspect completed work to ensure conformity with specifications and building codes.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use protective gear and equipment to ensure safety while working.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to prevent accidents and injuries.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other construction professionals, including engineers, supervisors, and other tradespeople.

Qualifications:
Education:

- Completion of an apprenticeship program in bricklaying or relevant vocational training.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer, with 10 years of experience in masonry and construction.
- Strong understanding of bricklaying techniques, materials, and tools.
Skills:
